Retired teacher- taught 35+ years. Have experience teaching elementary (grades 1-7)reading and reading comprehension, writing, math and history. I worked with remedial students for 20 years, providing help with organization, self-esteem, and study skills in addition to the school subjects. My belief is that unless the organization and self-efficacy issues are resolved, teaching and learning is not at its best. In addition to teaching, I have tutored one or two children at a time for many years.
